Emily Hancock (Cherokee)
(503) 222-4044, ext. 129
Emily’s desire as a project coordinator at NICWA is to create a constant connection between her work and her heart for Native communities. She seeks to engage donors and members through creative mediums (like communications, design, web, photo, and video) by sharing crucial child welfare practice information and relevant, inspiring stories of the resilient Indigenous children and families NICWA works with every day. Emily is planning to finish her bachelor’s degree in communications at Portland State University by 2018 as she continues to support NICWA in any role she can.
