Senior Program Director

Senior Program Director Tara Reynon is NICWA’s Senior Program Director. A member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, she served Tribal Communities for over 24 years. As a passionate advocate of Indian Child Welfare, she has dedicated her career to serving Tribal children and families.

In 2014, she became a part time lecturer at the University of Washington, Tacoma where she developed and taught the Indian Child Welfare Course Curriculum for Master of Social Work students.

Most recently, Tara served as the Tribal Community Wellness Division Manager at the Puyallup Tribe. She oversaw over 15 social service programs where I helped bridge communication gaps between departments, break down silos and built a tribal system that works collaboratively and cohesively in meeting members’ complex needs.

Tara is excited to utilize this knowledge and expertise in serving children and families nationwide.
